Howdy Internet!

I’ve picked up a few followers lately, so I figured I’d introduce myself.  

My name is Geoffrey (pictured above, attempting to look business casual).  I live in New York City, like everyone else.  I used to write the webcomic The Adventures of Captain Miskatonic, but I finished doing what I wanted to do with it, so I stopped and moved on to other things.  The entire story isn’t online yet because my buddy and artist on that project, Dav Yendler has been busy with work that actually pays him to draw, but he’s finishing up the last run of pages, so our story will be complete sometime soon.

Right now I’m working on my own webcomic STRONG CONQUEROR (tumblr feed here), which I write and draw.  I try to update it about three times a week, so it’s been keeping me pretty busy.  I don’t have a lot of experience with drawing and coloring, so each update is a learning experience.  I’m currently trying to develop some photoshop skills.  It’s pretty rough around the edges right now, but I’m having a pretty good time with it.

I write about comics with my girlfriend Tessa on our blog Death-Ray Ozone (if you hate leaving tumblr, we have a tumblr feed for it here).  We both love comics, and while we’re not experts in criticism, we both have noisy opinions about what we like and what we don’t like, so starting a blog about it seemed to fit.
